Good VW specialist repair in Randburg area

Post by Belix »

Hi folks
As much as I'd love to take the old Jetta to Hatfield, labour charges are a tad too much, and I'm not too sure they like working on such an old gal (they looked rather surprised the last time I took her in to Hatfield  ).

There is a nasty noise which sounds a bit like bad pinking on acceleration, but I suspect it is the bearings on something anciliary, either the aircon pump, power steering, alternator or water pump. Don't imagine having it seize up on me would be great.

Contact G60 Golf on these forums. He works at Hatfield in Bryston I think. But he helps all of the guys out on here - even sorted my suspension noise for me!

Was thinking of him, and he got a pile of recommendations via pm. Will see if he has a spot and some interest on working on such a battered old lady...

Hello ALL,

I have an old Golf VW 16v. Originally bought in 1989.

Car is running rough, and I am looking for someone to reset things and get it running properly again.
I am pretty close to Ranburg.

Thanks,

Neil.

My Car that i'm driving: 2013 VW POLO GTI 1.4TSI DSG.

Hi My car was running smooth and all of a sudden engine came on and next day my when i drive the car engine light was blinking again and its was cutting when i go above 2500rpm then i tried to accelerate more and EPC and EGINE lights came on and had to cancel the trip. i stopped just few houses to my house and when i check on engine the was a smoke smelling like oil its burning of some exhaust. i went back when i start it reflected OIL SENSOR warning on my dashboard then i check my oil and it was okay then drive after short distance it went off it self then never wanna start it was difficult to start, then had to push it so Can someone refer me a VW specialist around JHB South.
