You will need to jack up the car, remove the wheel, linner and all its bolts and then refit after checking - an hour may be cutting it fine.

thanks guys
eish a weekend is what i dont have at the moment. on saturday my SO's bro and fam is arriving from Bali very early in the morning. so have to pick them up from the airport then drop them back in the afternoon to catch their flight to durbs.
then on sunday my SO's parents are flying in from India. Gnna go meet them for lunch while they wait for their flight back to durbs.
next week friday im leaving to Drakensburg so that weekend is out too. wanted to open it and check today after work. if i need to buy anything then i can get it tomorrow and then maybe on sunday open and fit everything if i have to.

so an update on the situation...
the pump that fits onto the bottle popped out. opened the fender liner as Marco sugested. didn have to take the tyre off, just turned it full lock on either sides to get the the screws. had to jack the car a little to get to one of the screws under the car (was using a screwdriver not a ratchet).
slotted the pump back into the bottle and filled it up and works 100% and no leaks or anything
now i just need to get a set of wipers before the rainy season starts.
