I humbly beg for you forgiveness - it was me that went off topic but there is NOTHING on this earth that irritates me more than that kind of thing. It just proves to me that people in general are becoming less intelligent with time where I always thought it should be the other way around. If you cannot express yourself properly then you are no better than some animals.

@ Panic: With the PP management system, I think I will run my ABF on the std 60-2 for now then fit the wasted spark from the G4 like you advised. What magnetic pick up do I need to get that will fit in my block? my std ABF dizzy and cap is still 100%.
Also can I use my current MP9 coil on this set up?
I am just trying to put together my shopping list of what I need.

Do you advise me to run a lambda?

I want to run safely and economically as possible.

thanks

There is an Opel pickup - available from GW that is the same length that fits. Take the current pickup out and take it to GW for a length comparison. Be carefull when you fit it. It has to go in flush - you remove the little plastic ring that it comes with otherwise it will stand proud of the block an crack the mounting point - it also won't read the trigger wheel then.
YES I strongly suggest running the Lambda - that is where all the niceties come from. Without it it's just any other old management.
Yes you can use the current MP9 coil and Either buy a blue fire now already as a coil amp and then you are ready when you go wasted spark or you can use a single Tp1000 which is a positive trigger TCI out of a bantam to fire your single coil for the moment and later get another or buy a blue fire then. TP1000 = +- R220 - must be Echlin brand.
Blue fire - R1000.

If you are planning on running the 60-2, then why do you want to run the dizzy, just go wasted spark onetime.
For the crank sensor you can use the opel 2L 16v sensor, they are R550 from goldwagen.
As for the coilpack im running the opel corsa one.
Then all you need is the perfect power bluefire ignition amplifier for the coilpack.

The STD ABF dizzy is a 1 window dizzy, you will need the 4 window dizzy anyways. Or modify the ABF one.

If you run 60-2 pickup you can still happily fire the dissy and it needs no mods to the pickup as you won't even be connecting it. Unless of course you want full sequential fuelling in which case you will use the pickup - as is with it's 1 trigger window. But it really does very little for economy - which can still be achieved without having to go full sequential.

Ok cool So I can keep my dizzy u saying,
what I will need is (just correct me anything I'm missing) for managment:
1.A magnetic pick up.
2. Blue fire coil amp
3. lambda
4. PP xms4B 4A

Were does the PP get it's MAP from? Does it have it's own MAP sensor?

Thanks guys

XMS4B-4A has it on-board, yes. The XMS4B-4 doesn't.

Please tell me that TNT now has these branches available off-the-shelf? I mean, for a long-block 16V in a mk1?

Mind if I ask how much it is? Can PM if you prefer.

That is GREAT news. Really didn't feel like sending the car there for a few days.

OUCH on the price though. Last time I bought a branch there, it was R800. Granted, this was about 10 years ago.
