Nope, as they have been engineered to work with n/a high revving vw motor and not designed for a tdi...

Then rather save up and go to Japan auto and get a R32 engine. R19k last time I asked and that has more potential than the 2.2 IMO.CRASH_IT wrote:Want my citi to stay NA. I can remember many moons ago at Rainbow there was a Mk1 with a VR6 motor, lots of wheelspin off the line but could only manage mid 16's...a1ofvw wrote:that 3.2ltr wont come anywhere near a well specced na 16v

Re: Another ABF Build (NOW ON PERFECT POWER)
Hi Guys,
I am new to the forum...and I have a citi sport 1.6i. I am looking to put the famous ABF motor in my car as I am wanting more power and eventually turbo charge the motor...do you guys think the ABF is right for the job? I see the guys also like putting the 20V motors...any insights?
Thanks

Re: Another ABF Build (NOW ON PERFECT POWER)
If you want a turbo motor rather put the 1.8t 20v motor in straight away.
ABF keep it n/a.
