Do those cranks from eurospecsport suffer from bearing failure as been head of with other cranks?

Nope, as they have been engineered to work with n/a high revving vw motor and not designed for a tdi...

33K is alot of money rather turbo it.

Want my citi to stay NA. This will be a very long term thing and when I have that sort of cash laying around. If I go turbo Ill buy a std turbo car rather and tinkle with that.

My citi is a paid for toy that I can never replace with money. Ill be that topi with his citi parked inside the garage that all the kids talk about!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Then rather save up and go to Japan auto and get a R32 engine. R19k last time I asked and that has more potential than the 2.2 IMO.

I can remember many moons ago at Rainbow there was a Mk1 with a VR6 motor, lots of wheelspin off the line but could only manage mid 16's...

Hi Guys,

I am new to the forum...and I have a citi sport 1.6i. I am looking to put the famous ABF motor in my car as I am wanting more power and eventually turbo charge the motor...do you guys think the ABF is right for the job? I see the guys also like putting the 20V motors...any insights?

If you want a turbo motor rather put the 1.8t 20v motor in straight away.
ABF keep it n/a.

Thanks Crash, would you have any idea what sort of changes I will need to make to the engine?and what power would it be able to make
