DQ200 Gearbox
Hi Guys,
I took my audi in to 4Stroke Auto CLinic in november for a new clutch.
Long story short we have laid criminal charges against the owner....
My question.
what exactly sits here on the gearbox?
Something broke off but i have no idea what.
is this going to end up being a replace the gearbox scenario?

Re: DQ200 Gearbox
I'm sure you meant clutch packs, since you have a DSG box.
Yeah you're gonna have to get a replacement box

Re: DQ200 Gearbox
Looks like it is some sort of vent / cover (see Black plastic thing in pics below) 2nd top pic, next to bar code sticker. From your pics your can see it is a casting hole with part of the wall broken off....

Re: DQ200 Gearbox
It just looks like they cracked a piece off the casing from the inspection hole, not a big deal.
There's just a plug that covers it usually like in the pictures above.
They probably put some sort of tool or bar in there to try lock the flywheel or loosen a bolt and broke a piece off the housing.
DQ200 is dry clutch and the bellhousing has no fluid in that area so nothing would leak per say.
A plug to cover the hole and you're good to go.

Re: DQ200 Gearbox
Hi guys. Where did you buy your clutch? I recently bought a 2015 Jetta 1.6 TDI DSG 7 speed (DQ200, I think) and need to replace the flywheel and clutch.

Re: DQ200 Gearbox
At goldwagen. However, they needed to phone LUK with the vin number to get the part number. On their system the clutch was listed under polo 1.4 DSG.
Cost just over 8k
