Advice on B8 S4 Control arms and oil leak

Post by Jet Li »

Greetings.

Should I replace just Upper control arm bushes or the entire arm on both front sides?
Complete arm is about R900 @ GW and bush is about R400 at Agents. I'm under the impression that Agents bushes lasts longer than GW Control arms not sure if its indeed true. Main concern is that the ball joint is part of the arm & should it fail soon then I will have to replace the entire arm.

How difficult is it to replace the gasket on the brake servo vacuum pump? it has visible oil leaks.

Any advice will be appreciated. Thanx

GW sell OE quality brands (Meyle etc), haven't had any issues with their suspension bushes on my Avant to date

All parts fitted and so far so good. Will clean the chassis and monitor if there's any other oil leakage down there.

Kind Regards
