Hi Everyone,
It seems i'm in for a turbo replacement for my 1.4TSI 90KW CAXA... Endless wastegate issues and related troubles. What am I in for financially? I'm hoping to get a general estimate here based on previous experience so I can start saving. Edit, I've heard its about 30K??!
Edit 2 : I joined here way back, when my car was quite new and this turbo stuff started... Since then i've hung on and never been able to afford to fix the issues, and have had bad luck trying to get the thing diagnosed or fixed, which is why I'm asking for help again. I want to try and give it another shot, and perhaps if I can get the basics fixed dabble in some small upgrades.
CAXA turbo replacement...

Re: CAXA turbo replacement...
Cut your losses. Gonna be a money pit in my opinion.
EA111 (CAXA) motor had a litany of issues, VW tried to fix it with the EA112 revision.
