okay hopefully someone has experienced this before .
2001 golf 4 1.8t agu
all the readings on vagcom measuring blocks are within range except lambda reg it is sitting on -20.3 , and the car is running rich , does not back fire , but bad gas millage and you can smell the fuel from the exhaust . makes spark plugs and exhaust black with carbon after 1 run . airflow reads at 3.4g/s on idle . idle is also abit rough . changed lambda sensor and the car ran even more rich started kicking out black smoke from the exhaust and back firing .
any information will be appreciated .
