P177F Code Fault using ODB11 scan tool...Help Needed

Post by Preggz »

Hi There
I have this P177F Code Fault using ODB11 scan tool on my Polo 6r 1.4TSI
Fault
Control unit: 02 Transmission
Active faults: 0
Inactive faults: 1
System description: GSG DSG AG7 431
Software number: 0AM300060A
Software version: 4540
Hardware number: 0AM927769D
Hardware version: D20
Serial number: CU501601225135
Faults:
P177F - Hydraulic pump motor Insuff. voltage
Intermittent
Priority: 0
Frequency counter: 25
Driving cycle: 10
Mileage: 141106 km

So Recently I had a battery drain all due to my Tracking Unit I had. Which caused lots of low voltage errors.
I removed the Tracking unit which solved the battery drain and effectively damaged my Battery which I also upgraded to a bigger battery 652.
Cleared all the voltage errors but P177F Fault code Came back Prior to my Battery drain I never had this error
And currently all selection of gears and changes are all fine no flashing lights on the cluster not getting stuck in gear.
Only when the car is scanned I find this error. And when you check power supply the Voltage gear train gets 14.2 volts.

The car only has a Downpipe/ intake.

Will appreciate help to this.

Thanks in advance.

Check the main fuses located on the battery.

The fusable links have a bad habit of cracking or breaking and causing an open circuit.

Remove each link one by one and inspect them, the faulty one should show itself under close scrutiny.
