Error P0302 with missfire not going away

Post by Oper8tor »

Polo1.2tsi high line 2017 , 130k ok clock

Had error P0302 , changed spark plug , coil pack , did not leave
Took to Mech, he cleaned injectors and changed injectors on cylinder 2 . Was working great .
1 month later error back he checked and also was 3 pints short on oil , he kept the car for few days
Finally said something about oil breathing filter (cannot rem ) fetched it today and drove it was fine as driving from gym error back on

With the epc light lack of power , rough idle from start and no power at all

When is was working fine in morning the start was very rough I assumed due to cold , once warm idle would drop .
Just so annoyed and don’t know what to do anymore and need my car for work
Any help ?

The car does have stage 1 software was even wondering would this affect anything ( sorry if any spelling errors typing on phone )

I have this problem too with the EPC light staying on. Coil packs and injectors changed and new spark plugs change but EPC light does not go off. Polo 1.4 GP conceptline. The information online says throttle body or sensors for airflow meter. Can someone please assist in advice as it is costly to go for diagnostics all the time and then the wrong things are replaced. Because now the local mechanic wants to take my throttle body apart and service it.

Please post your diagnostic repost so that we can see, very difficult to advise without seeing the actual faults.
if you don't have a diagnostic report, can do diagnostic for you for R200 and provide support. it could be throttle body, ignition coils etc,

A friend of mine had a similar problem on his polo. It would idle okay when cold but once it get to operating temperature it would start acting up and bring up the EPS light, lost power as well. After diagnostic scan and trouble shooting, I found out the it was the plug at the throttle body, had a lot of water and that was affecting the readings it is meant to send to the ECU. Cleaned it up with some electric spray and it now runs like new again.

Hi Bud,
Take it to a proper VW Mac to diagnose and do a compression test,
but it seems to me the Piston failure/ Ring Lards broke hence the high oil consumption.
but take it for a compression test to be sure.
