Guys,
I want to know what will be the benefits of fitting a down pipe to my standard Polo 6c GTi, except to delete the CAT?
Is there a way of deleting/removing the CAT without changing the down pipe?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Cheers.

Remove stock downpipe and use a hammer plus chisel and smack the Cat out, refit downpipe.
Or get a decent exhaust shop to remove the Cat and fit a straight piece of pipe in it's place.
Benefits? Slightly louder exhaust sound and maybe a few extra horses.
If you have software on the car, the benefit of more power and torque will be better, but if stock, don't expect to go chasing after Veyrons and superbikes.

Re: Polo 6c GTI DSG
For the effort, rather just remove the cat, fit a DP and be done with it.
keep the original cat in your garage and if you ever feel the need to, re fit the cat at a later stage.
Its all a bolt on and bolt off modification.
They will have to remove the stock downpipe to knock out the contents of the cat. Rather just remove and refit the downpipe...
