Hi everyone,
I'm new to this so hoping to get some advice here.
I got a new exhaust system and downpipe fitted to my car this past weekend and since then my car goes into limp mode after a few seconds and displays an "EPC" warning light on the dash.
Any advice on what could be wrong here?
The place that did it still has my car and reckons its something to do with the induction and a pipe with a broken / cracked seal not getting enough air to the turbo for the car to boost properly.
Any advice will be very much appreciated
Thanks!

Apologies that would appear to be correct as I was told it was a Polo 7 at vw when I purchased it.

I am guessing the car does not have software, probably an error because there is no cat in the car now. You may need a minicat/cat fooler if you do not have a tune that caters for a catless exhaust

Thanks for the response and sorry for not mentioning, the car has been fitted with a minicat as well so do you reckon doing software might fix it then?dazza wrote:I am guessing the car does not have software, probably an error because there is no cat in the car now. It would be best to take the car somewhere and have it scanned.
If it is in limp mode it will log an error. Takes the guess work right out of it.
