Re: booost lag
Here is the problem. What are we supposed to help with.
Currently you now have too much boost?. Remove some of the springs.

Re: booost lag
Dude - we have no idea what your layout is. Both which pipes?.
The boost controller with the t-piece you basically connect the manifold with the wastegate. Then you cut that pipe and put the T-piece in. the open pipe from the T - goes to the controller with the IN arrow. the other pipe you leave open if you install it in the engine bay or you lead it out through the firewall if the controller is inside the car.

Connect, according to the picture that Panic posted, to the bottom nipple and leave the top port open.

Re: booost lag
Post pictures or draw out how you have connected waste gate. Like panic, killerwatt and Dcmk4 has said, guessing how your setup is done and visualizing it makes it difficult to give proper direction to you to get this sorted. Needle in a mountain of haystack. Impossible.
Pictures will help a lot or take your car to some one who knows how to do it right.
4800 boost on a gt35 is expected and not sized right for your setup, maybe adding NOS to get the spool quicker has came to your mind. Don’t DIY it as you might blow the motor is setup incorrectly.
