Car Swinging but not Starting

Hi guys need help
Polo 6 1.6 Comfortline
Been having a problem with my car. When I start the car it does not catch.. I have to swing it like 4-5 times with the accelerator down before I get it started.. specially when the car is hot it happens.
Heard it could be the fuel pump or the fuel pressure regulator. When the car stands for like a day without driving it catches first time.
Please assist.

on those it's more often the water temp sender. Specially when they do what your is doing - ie start when cold but not when hot.
