2012 VW Glof 1.4TSI 90KW Ping

Good day all, my car started making a strange pinging sound yesterday, but as you ref it a bit it goes away but returns upon idle? Any idea?

Car has 87k on the clock

Jip on Idle, can this be timing belt related?

uhm post engine code. should be timing chains nor a belt and yes can be tensioner / chains related.

Car is at mechanic, he says he will remove the belt and spin each pulley to find the problem as its now not a ping anymore but sounding like a clatter, He also says he thinks its the waterpump

Mechanic came back to me, was the waterpump starting to fail,R1380 and the car is quiet as can be again!
