Cylinder Head line boring or repair

good day gents.

As per topic, im looking for a good engineering place around Pretoria/centurion that can do cylinder head camshaft journal repair and also line bore the head for me. my cam journals have some heavy scratches hence i need them repaired. This is for a TFSI head

You can throw that away. Both the head and the cams. Those cams have press on lobes and you can't weld onto them. The head by design of that cradle can not be cut down and line bored either. It says that clearly in the SSP of that engine and in the repair manual.
Search for another complete head with cams.
Try this guy in the cape - nizaam smith 0826855462. He will pack and ship it to you. Good reliable guy. Have bought several from him already in the past.

yes sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I have like 5 of those heads lying at home useless. Literally pretty paperweights.
