Hey guys,
I need some help rather urgently. My 2004 Golf Mk4 Gti 1.8t keeps over-heating because my fans won't come on.
I have replaced the thermostat, water temperature sensor, thermo fan switch, fan control module, tested the fans direct to 12v, and both pipes are hot (top and bottom). The water pump was done around 3000kms ago.
Every search i do comes up with the same results and I feel I have tried everything coming up.
Please will somebody assist me as I need this car to get to and from work but have to travel through traffic and don't want to risk my motor for this.
Thanks in advance.
Kyle

If tested direct to 12v do they come on?

Re: Golf Mk4 Gti Fans Not working
Found it!
I took out the fuse on the right above the battery to inspect it closer and the fan came on. Turned the fuse around and put it back and now the fans work.
I will replace all the fuses tomorrow morning and all should be well.
Thanks for your help.
