TFSi Oil pickup from hell...

Started getting oil pressure warning lights on my car, pulled the sump and saw this. Thought it was metal shavings at first but when I removed the particles I noticed it was silicone sealant, probably from the previous time the sump was removed and refitted...
It's a miracle the motor did not grenade. First time I've removed the sump from the car, might do it more regularly after seeing this.
