Cleaning N75 valve

Post by Pologticrazy »

Howzit.

So i went to VW to order a new N75 valve. Turns out that its on back order and ill have to wait 3 weeks. Is there a way that i can try and clean the current valve to get it from occasionally opening the wastegate when car is under boost. Any help?

I've never had to clean or heard of an N75 needing cleaning, when N75s fail, it results in an open circuit and no boost. Most likely a boost control/mapping issue. An N75 is actually a pretty robust component.
