2010 VW Jetta 5, 2.0 TSI Tuning Options

Post by vwdubnam »

Hi Guys

I have an option to buy a very neat 2010 vw jetta 5, 2.0 tsi,
What are my tuning option regarding this motor?
It says 147kW, which seems to be the same as the golf 5 gti, are the motors the same?
:type:
what would be the best route to follow, pushing power levels int 180kW bracket?

The motor is essentially identical from what I know and I am sure they made more than the VW claimed 147kw. The best option would be a simple intake, DP and software.
Current Garage:
Daily Drive: 2014 VW Touareg 3.0 V6 TDi R-Line

Project FeO: 1966 VW Type 2 Transporter Kombi Split Window

Previous Garage:

Vagon: 2005 Audi B6 A4 1.8T (140kw) Avant
Project XXXX: 1967 VW Type 3 Variant (Squareback)
Project Betty: 2005 Polo 1.9 TDI (PD130) Sportline
Weekend Warrior: 1993 Volkswagen Caddy 2.0 16v ABF on ITB's

If this is the 2.0 tsi then it would have the EA888, golf 6 gti motor.

You will be able to reach 180wkw with Downpipe, Intake and stage 2 software.

We import everything from south africa. they do exhaust no downpipes. So i can cut out the middle man and import it myself. On the forum i found rouge performance, but i havent asked for a quote yet.

Vdumnam,

Try MAD Tuning or Powerflow. They both make downpipes. I did mine 2 weeks ago at mad for 3500 and Power asked me 4500. Both places use stainless piping. U will need to buy a cat fooler as well if ur not going to software with the down pipe. As for intake MAD can help with that.
