What are the differences on oem and aftermarket one?
Is the length of it giving it more pressure, type of material that makes it last longer?
Seems damn expensive for a little piece of metal that can be manufactured on a lathe.
Thanks

Re: Radon Question - hpfp internals
the internal piston is bigger so more volume. yes stupid expensive.

Re: Radon Question - hpfp internals
Yup piston diameter is larger on the aftermarket units.
It's not as simple as turning one in a lathe though. Tolerances are down to the single digit micron range and material is a hardend tool steel to cope with stresses. Surface finishes are also very fine.
Having said that, we are working on a locally manufactured alternative to the imported units. Prototypes are being manufactured so if all goes well we should have units availible soon.
