Vw mk1 intercooler problem

Howzit gents!
Hope you guys could help me out here! I have a mk1 that I'm currently boosting it's a 2l 8v agg...the only problem is I have aircon and infront of the radiator is the aircon radiator so there's hardly any space there :deadhorse: so please could you guys advise me as to where I can put the cooler or how I can space the radiator back abit.

1. You can make brackets and space the radiator backwards towards motor side, but check your clearances and motor movement.
2. Fit a charge cooler where the battery sit and move the battery to the boot.
3. Fit a long narrow intercooler outside the grille under the bumper. (very visible and can be damaged by stones bouncing on road surface and attract the popo's to check your car out and check for your licence each time you drive it)
