Hi guys
I am new here and this may have been a topic before I'm not sure , I just can't seem to find a straight answer.
Im from the kzn area i have a 2010 scirocco 2.0 tsi dsg, mileage about 107k. No mods done. There's a rattle when I let off the throttle from the engine area, as soon as I hit the accelerator it goes away. I've read that its the wastegate rattle and you get a clip from vw and it sorts it out however I've done that and still have the problem.
I don't feel a loss in power, car runs perfectly. I've asked the dealership they say nothings wrong.
Is there something else that I could check and if so where to go? or do I need to replace the turbo?
Thanks

Re: Rattle During Deceleration
In my car the actuator rod was loose, especially when letting off the throttle and from 3000rpm and dropping.
