Yes there is Quinton Phillipson
Oooohhh...details? I need a good map in my life...current one sucks big hairy donkey balls
loooooooooooooooooooooooool!
Seriously....boost gauge goes up to 1.5bar, then drops to 1bar, then 1.3bar and up and down again. Car feels like it wants to go...then decides not to want anymore...then again it goes.
Tuner tells me my 007 dv is the cause...i fit OEM back...same ****
Ex:
White '07 Polo GTI 9n3 - Stock
Black '07 Polo GTI 9n3 - 113fkw 234nm stock -> 153kw 277nm chooned
Silver '07 Slowdi A4 B7 1.8t - w/ T3T4 powers
Current:
Green '16 Kawasaki Z300 - 28kw
Blue '15 Yamaha MT-07 - 55kw
Blue '13 B8.5 A4 2.0TDI - 130kw

Same kak I have on both my 20vT, with stock or Forge DV.
Current Rides:

2008 Tiguan 2.0TDi 4Motion (Stage 1/Daily)

Sounds like an actuator issue
Definitely actuator or N75 related. Get your hardware sorted first before you jump tunes.
Oh i intend to...still need a new tuner. Instead of just blaming hardware...how about tuner helps customer out atleast with fault finding rather than naming parts...got more help from you guys in 5minutes.lol
Anywhoo

Which tuner?
07 PGTi

Ex: 12 Cross Polo 1.6
Ex: 15 Fiesta ST
Ex: 04 Jetta 1.8T
Ex: 99 Golf VR6

Mine did it too on my Jetta, because actual boost would go over requested, then ECU would adjust N75 and it would undershoot and that's how it would keep going. At the moment my car is tuned to not overshoot at all, and it was doing that but now my actuator is stuffed.
You can see how I tune my boost using WGDC% so that it doesn't overshoot, it still does it slightly though(Because it can't use a higher DC% than it is set to). I also have no choice because this chinese WG sucks. Also, this graph gives you an idea of how boost fluctuates slightly when controlled by the N75.
True. Yet if the client doesn't know how to check these things should the tuner not assist or guide the client?
I've no idea how to check or set the actuator for example, so my 1st point of call would be my tuner to assist. How does it help to have a tuner who tunes the car...picks up a hardware error and then leaves you to fend for yourself and google or head to a different tuner who can check the hardware. Rather then go to tuner b that can tune and check hardware...
Ex:
White '07 Polo GTI 9n3 - Stock
Black '07 Polo GTI 9n3 - 113fkw 234nm stock -> 153kw 277nm chooned
Silver '07 Slowdi A4 B7 1.8t - w/ T3T4 powers

Not the tuner's job, you paid for software which you got, why would they be responsible for every fault in your car after that?
Never said they're responsible buddy. I said the least they could was assist or guide. They don't have to fix....but point me in the direction atleast hey

Wait....so it's unreasonable for my tuner to say:" car is mapped, there's an issue with the boost management. I think you should have your wastegate checked buddy."
Instead of..."car is mapped. Thanks cheers.". Then you notice boost is weird...and tuner says not my problem...its your hardware. And im not gonna even hint at what it could be.
Surely the tuner has enough knowledge to just mention what the fault could relate to so I can fix at my own expense?
Ex:
White '07 Polo GTI 9n3 - Stock
Black '07 Polo GTI 9n3 - 113fkw 234nm stock -> 153kw 277nm chooned

All I'm saying is. If a guy maps my car....and the car is unhealthy afterwards...please point me in a direction you think could be the problem since you have more knowledge than me. I'll happily then have it checked and sorted for hardware faults instead of me going to google and then randomly checking things that could have no implication in the fault.

If he mapped the car and it was unhealthy in front of him and on logs and he still proceeded to take your money, then I would ask for it to be flashed back to stock and move to another tuner...
Car was boosting weird ever since it was mapped by said tuner. This is why im saying all i would have liked was to be pointed in a direction. You guys here pointed me in the direction of actuator. That's all i wanted....tuner said meh.

MouseGTI I agree with you here bud. In the end it's all about better service even though it's not their problem if your hardware is the problem, but there is nothing wrong with helping a customer out as much as they can.

That's why i say they are file loaders and not tuners. A tuner will be able to give you hardware support should there be an issue.
