The box you're referring to is the resonator, it keeps drone down. On the mk5 and 6 setup that box is almost a freeflow box anyhow as you can see right through it. On my mk5 I kept that in and changed the rear part (muffler) to a freeflow unit. My car was very quiet at 120km but at the coast boosting in 3rd inbetween buildings it set car alarms off.

If you want to do it proper on you polo rather not **** around with pipe this and pipe that, get a 63mm 2 box system, as a progressive exhaust system is best on the 1.8T when staying k04. 76 dp into 63 2 box freeflow.

The feuling has been sorted bro, was a faulty coil pack causing misfire, going do have the wheels aligned and balanced and spigot rings checked friday when im off. and then its just the exhaust i want to be lil louder so will probably speak to the guys while im getting the wheels balanced to give me advice on exhaust.

You should be able to get a system for around R1400.00 from Exceed in Randburg.

to be blunt, if you dont have 1500 (example) for a full exhaust then surely you do not have 750 for freeflow so why bother and not just save another 750 in theory.

???

63mm is if you dont plan on changing turbo
76mm is good for stock and bigger.

I just prefer my 76mm when i had stock over 63mm however they both work equally the same.
