Can anybody advice on how to adjust gears? I've changed my bushes except for the big orange one and now I can't get any gears.

Re: Gear adjustment
That tool is for MK2.
MK1 can be done DIY but it takes two people and some trial and error.
Get another person to hold the gear lever still at the middle and perpendicular to the body, measured at the base. Loosen the pinch bolt under the steering rack and shake the selector lever on the gearbox into neutral. Tighten the pinch bolt on the gear selector shaft.
If you still don't have gears then you have caked something up. Recheck your work.
