Vr6 engine failure

Hi guys,

It’s been years since I’ve been on here :hi:

Friend of mine bought a 98 VR6 Jetta recently and is having engine issues.

I’ve tried searching through years of threads/posts and have come up empty. Can anyone recommend a reputable mechanic in the Midrand area who is familiar with these engines?

I have a video of what the motor sounds like but unable to upload. If anyone can help out I will forward the video on.
