Good day everyone.
I ran into a problem yesterday, my car almost burnt out. Was sitting in the car after taking a 60km drive and i just started smelling burn. Tracked the smell and saw that a fire started forming behind the fuse box. I got the fire out after panicking abit but couldnt save the wiring or fuse box. Turns out the main culprit was the wire that goes to the distributor was shorting somewhere which caused the constant current.
But any i sourced another fuse box and loom and switched both out while doing the "remove on the one and place on the other method". Car started and is running all good.
But i have 3 issues which i could not fix immediately.
1. Wipers not working on any speed
2. Oil buzzer goes on after revving over a certain rpm
3. Petrol gauge not working. I see it goes up a small bit but nothing further.
Any help on these three issues that i can sort out as im not a genuis with wiring.
Car is a 1983 gls
Fuse box and loom comes from a mk1 carb fox but the citi spec
