vr6 ecu

Post by Evin »

Hi guys

is there a way to connect to the ECu of a Vr6 jetta

i want to help my friend with his car, it losses power while driving, might be coil pack

Try to connect to ecu via vag com but no luck, the doesn't use immobilizer like normal mk3

i google the pin out for the vr6 and its pin 21 Data Link Connector (L-Line)

can I hooked this up as the mp9 with only earth power and direct line to pin 21

Thnx in advance

You need to code the key (transponder ring) to the ecu.

Hi Guys

anyone that can assist on Vr6 fuel pump. got the fault code 01259 Fuel pump Relay (open or short to ground)

Ross tech explain it as faulty fuel relay or wiring connection to ground

The pump keeps on running while the ignition on

thanks in advance

Change the relay for a new one.
My VR did the same a few years ago. Got a new relay from Goldwagen, problem solved.
