Polo blueline 1.4 alarm

Afternoon guys

Hope all are good,

Help please,
My brother got polo blueline 1.4 2014 model, his alarm does not beep when unlocking or locking the doors, however the hazzards goes on and off

We tested battery with engine off 12.2 volts

The engine turns slowly in the morning when cold

We also disconnected battery and connect again, problem still there

Any help please

Hi check the siren itself that may be blown, if no sound coming from it then it will be the problem.....

Where is it located?

It should be in the engine bay up against the firewall it has a plug which you can unplug and test it in the battery with some wires, if you not up to it then my guess is take it to an auto electrician....
