Hi Guys
i have 2005 Citi 1.4i, i have replaced the Throttle body on the car has previously the car was hunting an idle, but after putting in my 2nd hand throttle body the rev goes to 1800rpm and takes very long to come back down like +-5 min.. We have done the adaption and complete stuff on the VAG but still. I did adjust the distributor a bit also and it helped but rev is high on start and on idle it 1100rpm.
We have checked the vacuum pipes all is good.
Any idea what else can be wrong?
Really need some help.
VW golf 1 Throttle body replaced but high rev.
