good day all i need help with my golf one 2008 i changed it from a 1.4i to a 2.0i but did not change the computer box and now it start but does back fire and no power what can i do

Check that timing marks are correct and then get a 2L map loaded to the computer box.

thanks i did do the timing it was fine but i will try 2L map loaded to the computer box or is it better just to get a new 2.0 computer box??

Loaded map or different box with that map results in the same thing in the end. Your choice. Same hardware.
