Coding a new accelerator????

Post by Nirshad »

Hi everyone. My name is Nirshad Singh... Shadu to everyone who knows me. I own a
2007 Seat Ibiza 1.6i. I recently had a problem with my car going into limp mode. After changing the throttle body, the car was still in limp mode. Then I was told to replace the accelerator pedal sensor, which I had done by my mechanic. However we are now in a situation where the engine cranks but will not start. HELP PLEASE.

pedal would not need coding. It's something else.

So if the car cranks but won't fire up, and I have changed the throttle body and accelerator, then the last option would be the ECU. Important to know that prior to changing the accelerator, the car would start and idle but would not go beyond 40km/h. After changing the accelerator and then putting the old one back again , it still won't start. I am seriously lost. BAH HUMBUG!
