howsit guys
MAF sensor on my car is failing and i need to change it and i was wondering if the the connical MAF sensor would work instead of the ONE thats built into the airbox like i currently have.car is running on the original Digifant system and the connectors seem to be the same 4 pin would it be different?

no it won't work.
Completely different control methods and reading methods and there is no correlation of calibration at all.
The one is a swing gate and measures resistance over a tracked carbon variable resistor much like a fuel gauge does.
The other uses a heated element which checks how much it is cooled from a known temp by the air flowing over it.
So not even the remotest of a chance it will work.
