Fueling issues

Post by vdub mk1/mk3 »

good morning guys

hope you guys had an awesome weekend

i have a strange issue on my Velo Ive noticed 'when the tank is half and under it jerks and splutters.

so i changed the plugs, fuel filter, bogie cords however problem still came through.

so decided to get that stuff you put in your tank to clean the fueling system, i filled up petrol and put the stuff in then boom problem went away.

this morning on my way to work it started up again :bang:

could it be the fuel pump going faulty?

That or contaminents in the tank. As it only starts when the volume of the tank is at a certain point it could be both....
