Hi all,
Require some help please.
My wife's car (2007 mk5 Golf 2.0 trendline NON-FSI) has started to pick up a rough idle (comes and goes) and when you try to accelerate, it seems to be running on 3 cylinders.
Have tried pulling codes, system says "no codes'. Changed ignition module, no change. changed plugs and leads, no change, full major service done with cambelt with spark plugs etc, still no change.
Any other ideas what it could be?

Pulled some codes again , got the following:
Cyl 1 : 17763, P1355 (Similar code for cyl 3 as well).
So cyl 1 and 3 on an open circuit.
Checked the codes on ROSS-TECH and they advise regrounding the coil pack as the open circuit is due to weak/faulty coil pack.
Anybody have an idea on how to do this? searched on Google but cant find a wiring layout for the single coil pack on this BHY engine.
