Converting a Caddy 1.6i BSF to Caddy 1.8T AUM - New Guy

Howzit Gents,

I thought I'd join up, as this forum has been rather helpfull with my lastest VW headache(s).

So after searching the web etc etc etc, I decided to rather purchase a donor car and replace the entire engine and gearbox of the caddy.

Previously the vehicle had a BSF 1.6i with std gearbox (terrible gear ratios) and now been replaced with a Audi A3 1.8T AUM & 02J gearbox.

I decided to go with Dicktator's 60-2 and Dicktator's DBW (Drive By Wire) system.... Not bad combo at all!

The DBW works fantastic, but the engine management is a pain in the chops!

I have basically completed the conversion and the vehicle is going to the tuner next to finalize.

So....

I thought, just because this forum help me so much, I would assist where possible on my experience....engine fitment, wiring challenges, solutions, etc.
