Polo Vivo GT upgrade question
Hi guys, Apologies for the inexperience (first post here).
I have a VW Polo Vivo GT 2011 model.
Some info on vehicle:
Everything stock except a Cowley stainless steel free flow (2 Box) exhaust, with decat and an SRI with K&N filter.
It sounds crazy and is noticeably faster.
So my question is: What performance chip/chip company should I use to further tune the vehicle? (before you say sell the vehicle and buy a GTI... I am a student and cannot afford a GTI. I like my car and wish to bring it to 100kW. I realize going from 77kW to 100kW is a task on this car, but I feel I would like to accomplish this, as it is my first car and I love the process involved in finding gains, also its a nice hobby to have while studying)
On a side note, I realize that a good cam will be best for performance increase, but I have only seen *** cams, and i hear they are really shitty....
thank you very much for your time and opinion. regards Matthew

Re: Polo Vivo GT upgrade question
Hey mtk, im also new to this forum so pardon my mistakes. I previously owned a vivo gt. I was also looking for options. Theres a guy by the name of ryan parreira(spelling might be slightly off) that is busy developing a turbo kit for these 1.6 motors, he was last in testing phase still, but was pushing around 126kw from the stock 77kw polo cross motor. Search for him on fb. Good luck buddy.

Re: Polo Vivo GT upgrade question
Thanks for the info. I would however like to stay naturally aspirated for now. Any turbo kit would be quite expensive.

Re: Polo Vivo GT upgrade question
There is someone on the forum who was tweaking a GT last year with proper mods, tweaking the software and experimenting with different intakes etc. Go through the rides section the thread should still be there...
It is an ingenius solution to a problem that should have never existed in the 1st place...
