Problematic Golf v 1.6 2006 model

Hi All, I am in desperate search for a Golf v Guru.
I have had my Golf V's motor rebuilt, new ECU and she is running fine except when idling she just cuts out.
has anyone got some ideas i can try.
We moved down to Cape Town and very short on good contacts in the area.
I live in Southern suburbs, Tokai area

Why new ECU?

Hi Howie, The old eco had burnt tracks that they couldn't repair so i got a new one.
