MAP selection like that is fine.

Ok, we are moving in the right direction now. It is now either just over fuelling or timing is at a point where it does not ignite at the right time.

Confirm settings for triggers on Sensor setup page:

Input trigger edge = Falling (Default)

Home position edge = Rising (Default) You have tried this setting on Falling and no luck.

Spark Trigger edge = Falling (Default)

Saying your starter is playing up due to excessive cranking...….Motor is stiff during cranking and attempting starts, right? Could be due to spark happening too early during the compression stroke and not right at TDC on the top of the compression stroke. Input trigger edge may need to be changed to "Rising edge" to move timing 24 degrees. Do also reduce the timing in the 250 and 750 rows to free up timing, the closer you set this to zero the closer to TDC it will spark.

By changing the "Input trigger edge" or "Home position edge" settings from default, you will move the timing 24 degrees on a 60-2 ecu.

i got the starter today

i start the car and the same problem persisted.

i checked for compression its good
fuel is ohk
spark its faint
start the car again with no1 spark plug out so that i may check the spark its so faint, its not strong and it sum times takes time to spark.

so i think its not enough to ignite the fuel.

You will need a strong spark. How is the ignition 1 output from Dicktator connected and what coil are you using?

wasted spark is used by the opel ecotec 16v mine its the 8v so it uses the dicktator setting single coil with distributer.

i am thinking of the checking the dissy today.

Sensor wired like this.

Double check you wiring for thr TP100 to be the same as this in the picture. If it is the same, get another coil. You can use a round bottle coil also.

Pin 5 on TP100 is not used when you wire for 60-2 on TP100. Check the picture I have posted, indicating the TP100 connections for 60-2.

The yellow/black wire is connected to pin 6.

You have a base map on your email. Load it and check if this is better with less fuel.

Oh there are plenty 8v opels that ran wasted spark. And it's very good option for you seeing you have 60-2. But anyway - yes you using the wrong wire on the tp100.

5. not connected
6. black and yellow from the 60-2 box
7. not connected

so ill download and upload the map tomorrow and update and i have ordered the rotor arm to the distributer hope it`ll help with the lean or weak spark i am experiencing

“4. goes to the battery positive”.

This should go through the ignition or switched 12V to prevent it being switched on the whole time and draining your car battery.

i have uploaded the map tried starting the car and no luck.
the problem i have notice is that the rpm reading sum times reads and it nearly catches and quickly disappears.

so i think with these behavior of the rpm reading being on and off its the main problem.

I have been and kept saying that right from the start. No good stable rpm reading and you will not start that car.
