92 citi idle problem

Hi guys just joined the club today 92 citi carb golf big idling problems :cry: got new coil and spark plug leads new carb base plate new carb kid checked air loss still nothing car idles if I pull choke out but not all the way or it will die don't know what to do next please help guys.

Welcome to the forum.

Please re-post to the correct section:

and give some decent background on how the problem started.
Is it the original carburetor?
Were there any earlier symptoms, leading up to the problem?
Was any work done, and if yes, what exactly?
Once you drive off, how is the pull and power of the engine - any hesitation, power loss?
How is fuel consumption?

Etc. etc.

Otherwise, it's just shooting in the dark.
(Oh, and no offense, but punctuation marks would help, too.)
