Info on Error codes

Post by RedBeard »

Howzit ladies and gents

I was wondering if there is a link to a thread or website with error codes listed. My mom drives a 2001 Audi A4 (not sure what the body type name it is :fear: ) with the 2.0 20v N/A engine(ALT - engine).

They did a check on the error codes a few weeks ago but I personaly cant make heads or tails out of the print out they gave us.

Want to use information gathered from researching to help my mom and pop out so they don't have to pay school fee's (they already raised 4 kids between them  ) or be fooled by the part replacement specialist (Read small town spare shops)

Thanks in advance

Post up the codes and their descriptions and we can see if we can help you.

P.S. 2001 A4 is usually a B6.

Also provide a little more info about the vehicle, ie: engine type, MT or AT, etc.

If you have the codes then justbsearch with google using the code number. Look at ross-tech's website too.
