Can you bypass the immobilizer? Does the car have a coded key? It could have so.ething to do with this.

I have a polo that does the same but i do not have an immobilizer installed in my car.

polo had a key coded immobiliser from the factory so yes it does unless you had it coded out of the management

If not then call a locksmith or a Mack with the computer that can recode the keys.
All the keys must be coded at the same time, any missing ones will be erased and no longer work. This is a good time to buy a spare key if you need one.
