Hi all
I’m looking for some advice . A few weeks after replacing cam and fan belt I started hearing noises initially thinking no it’s one of the tensioners, it’s a light clicking sound almost like water in hot oil which I’m now convinced is coming from the sump so I took off the sump yesterday and with very limited knowledge the only thing I noticed is the washer on the No3 bearing could move by finger
But then I thought once there’s oil pressure that should push it stable I took off just that one bottom bearing to inspect (not sure how to upload a pic ) looks fine by google standards Could this be a sign of bad bearings ? , is there a history of those washers needing to be replaced before bearings are shot, could my oil pump be going ? There car otherwise drives very well
