Been a while since I've been on the forum
Not sure if I may ask this but here goes
I lost my car key now I'm only sitting with the dut key(the 1 without transponder).Price for new key with coding
goes for around R1700.00,Is there any way to bypass or something just till payday...
Any help will be appreciated

Yes, have someone pull the EEPROM off of your ECU, then do an IMMO defeat until you're able to get a new key, then load your original EEPROM back onto the ECU after that. (This will cost more than the key, so basically no there isn't)
Sorry man, keys and coding keys on a Mk4 isn't expensive if you can find a blank key, have it cut and program it with VCDS.

No one wants to sell me the key separate everyone who doe sell it here it Witbank want to do coding aswell...Can order one from ebay but then I will receive it after month end...is there anyway I can recode a secondhand key ?

You can have a second hand key coded yes but do you have the ignition barrel for it?

Got a key and ignition from my old Jetta 4...Everyone I ask here in Witbank told me they cant reprogram a used key/chip...They need a virgin key/chip...Maybe they just don't know how to or just want to make more money by selling me a key and chip...
