Yup. Take it to a hydraulics shop and get one made up. They will reuse the ends and put new pipe and collars.

If your K-Jet is working, just try and get it fixed. K-Jet is great..

Take a picture of the pipe you need. Maybe I have one lying around.
And they are just lazy. They can even cut the end off and braze a fitting on that they have the tools for.

So spend around R5k or more to fix a leaking pipe. Yup perfectly logical.

Look I'm not trying to argue the best option here, that is why I merely asked why it shouldn't be considered. Whether it is the best option or cheapest that I cannot comment on, I've never done it myself. I have seen that it is unfortunately becoming more and more difficult to maintain the K-Jet system. Again I am not saying it is impossible, but difficult non the less. And if the car is a daily, it makes it worse I suppose because you need to sort out the problem as quick as possible again not sure how quick an EFI mod is. I suppose looking at the cost it doesn't justify it i.e. about R 2500 for management and probably another R 2500 for labour to install if you are not doing it yourself and to get it tuned.

I am also trying to ask the questions because I am trying to learn as much as possible, if that is not allowed. Please let me know and I will refrain from asking questions.

You can literally rent a car, drive to jhb, get a one of pipe made up, drive back to ladysmith for about a third of the price of doing an efi conversion. Those are rarely without any issues and either and you ahve the same problem of being removed form people that are really good at making them work too. Just becuase you now have one broken pipe does not mean it is suddenly going to stop working.
I understand givving advise like that but it is not a sensible option to get around a single broken pipe.
And there are many removed k-jet systems lying around that you can source a pipe from.
I am still waiting for that picture.......

Apologies for the bad advise.

Maybe a brake and clutch specialist can help, if they make up braided hoses for brake lines I'm sure they might be able to help with the fuel line. They should possibly have the tools to do the work.
