car died after start

Hi I need help....I started my car and it was idling ..then suddenly It switched of with a zzzzzzt sound...then I tried starting the car again but its just swinging.....I checked for spark on the plugs and even got a new coil..Help please!!!!!

Is power getting to the coil? And do you have spark now?

If power is getting to the coil but there is no spark then check your distributor
