Howsit gents ive been searching here for a build tread on this topic but cant seem to find one.

oks a 16v motor is +- 15k which i dnt have cash. What i do have is a ADY complete bottom end and hopefully geting my 16v head by tomorrow.

I know most of the things i need for this conv but would just like to verify it.

All parts i need are pulleys? uno dizzy cap? 16v oil pump?(think ima mod the 8v oil pump) new service kit? pistons? mod mp9 rail or 16v modded one and management? anything else im missing?

Then could anyone give me some more info on decent mods to get around 125kw out of the motor?

my 1st mod will be the ca18 pistons

It has been discussed to death a million times on the forum - 16V head + 8V bottom end = 8.5:1 compression ratio which is perfect for boost.
You will need 16V pistons if you are planning on running naturally aspirated.

As Jetta2 said, many of those posts on this forum.

Search for Torker on the forum and you find very much of the info you need on his build threads.

Uno dizzy cap like this one. Will not fit on ABF 16v dizzy as the ABF dizzy utilize 2 screws to hold the cap down. It works on the KR 16v dizzy.

On a second thought........ the ADY motor has a 60-2 crank sensor and choose the right management system (60-2) and run coils pack on wasted spark. No need for a dizzy or Uno cap.

You have a lot of possibilities with mods, I'm a sucker for a 16v N/A

Here is my mods done to my 16v:
BMW 84mm pop up pistons
TDI crank
Stage 3 flow from 8v Performance
Solid lifter
288 exh,276 int vanderlinde cams 11.8mm lift
Dictator management
Poy Special gearbox
+ a few odds and ends
All built by Sarel from 8v Performance

Great motor with tons of torque right through the rpm range.

jetta2 i have said i need the 16v pistons and im fitting the ca18 pistons its 83mm

It is a kr head and not an abf.

You will need to check the piston crown to head clearance if you go 83mm on KR head.
