Are you sure you are using the correct heat range plug?
If so, either there is something not right with the one side of your coil pack or you have two cylinders that are getting oil.
Because you don't have them in cylinder order I can't be sure which is which. If the fouled plugs were 1,4 then go buy a new coil pack.
If not, get a compression test done and start saving for at leasta head overhaul.

EISH! what i will do is put the VW coil pack back. well the black one was 4, i dunno where the others lie.
what would that cost?

i put the original VW coil pack in. car seems to be running as normal. fuel economy is better. could be because of new plugs, oil and filters.

Hi guys

I have 2006 vw jetta 2.0 petrol. I got the EPC light, the car randomly misfires, no serious problems starting even in the morning. Took the car to vw they changed o2 sensors but the came the same. Spark plugs are new,coil is new, leads are also new. When the car is idling i can see sparks around the cylinder 1 metal piece of the lead. Please help!!

uhm - then switch that lead out. No use you say it's new but it is arcing. Obviously that is an issue that you need to sort.

Im having the same problem on my golf AKL engine. #4 is not firing. New spark plug comes out clean. Replaced leads but still the same problem

could be ignition coil then....prob is they aren't individual so you have to replace the unit.
