Please assist with suggestions. My VW Golf Citi 1.4i jerks & shuts down when driving in the rain. I've changed the distributor. Last summer the car hit puddle of water and cut off engine with the new distributor - I wiped the inside of distributor and the engine ran smoothly afterwards & now Im experiencing same problem. Should I buy new original distributor from VW instead or there's problem of this part in this car?

Mine use to do that when it had a problem with the Coil, the coil had a crack, decided to replace it, now I can drive in the rain with a peace of mind
